I witnessed many spontaneous acts of kindness in New York City in Christmas season last year. At Kitchen Table talk, we will continue to try to be kinder and more civil ourselves, to find ways to try to make a difference every day in some way, to support those who need it or who are bullied or unfairly targeted, to live day by day, to celebrate progress, to remain clear eyed, and to find joy wherever we can, in the hope-- and knowledge-- that it can spread.
